One of the most famous horror villians of all time had to make our list. He lives in a thicket of trees and darkness, it's the Headless Horseman.

T he Hessian rides through the night forever in search of the keeper of his head. Killing at the will of Lady Van Tassle, and lopping off heads left and right. No one is spared, not even children.

His double edge ax and headless body roam with superhuman strength throughout the valley of Sleepy Hollow. When called upon his body will emerged from the western woods out of a twisted tree filled with the heads of those he's killed before, as the tree bleeds the blood of it's victims.

The question is, how do you kill something that's already dead?
