The two pale children suffer from a skin diesease that prevents them from being in direct sunlight of any kind. Due to this infliction they are to have all curtains closed at all times. However the children start to hear things at night and voices. The girl even starts to communicate with a "ghost" named Victor in which he makes his presents known when he touches the cheek of the boy. From here on out things get very interesting as the girl shows her mother a photo of the "ghost like" people she has been seeing. She draws out a family of people consisting of a man, woman, child (victor), and an elderly lady whom she had seen the most. Perhaps the most memorable scene from the movie occurs when the girl is playing by herself in a locked room in a dress and her mother comes into check on her. However as you hear the erie hums of the young girl you realize something isn't right. Just then you see that her hand has become the elderly women's hand the the great phrase is muttered.

"What have you done with my daughter?"

"I am your daughter"
